Tbilicare New York began with a dream, a shared belief about how people should be cared for, and the courage to take a chance.
Co-Founders Vanessa Ferrante and Archil Baramidze first met when Archie was hired to help care for Vanessa's late boss. Vanessa had been caring for her for years as her medical needs became increasingly complex, and working alongside Archie gave them the opportunity to see firsthand how similarly they approached care.
They shared the same expectations - - compassion, reliability, attention to detail, respect for the individual, and the belief that exceptional care is about far more than completing a list of tasks. It is about knowing the person, understanding the family, and recognizing the trust that comes with being invited into someone's home and life.
For Archie, owning a home care company had long been a dream. After more than 20 years in healthcare, he had the experience and a clear vision for the kind of company he wanted to create, but taking the leap was another story.
Vanessa saw the potential in his vision and encouraged him to take a chance on himself and build the business he had always wanted. What began as Archie's dream soon became something they would build together - - combining his extensive healthcare background with Vanessa's experience in business operations, executive support, education, and her deeply personal experience caring for someone she loved.
Together, they created Tbilicare New York.
Even the name reflects what they wanted the company to represent. “Tbili” means “warm” in Georgian and also connects to Tbilisi, Georgia - - paired with “care,” Tbilicare represents the warm, personal approach to home care at the heart of the company.
From the beginning, Vanessa and Archie never wanted Tbilicare to feel like just another home care company. Their goal was to provide the kind of care they would want for the people they love - - thoughtful, dependable, highly personalized, and built on genuine relationships between clients, families, and caregivers.
Today, they remain personally involved in the company and the families Tbilicare serves. Their backgrounds and strengths may be different, but the principles that first brought them together continue to guide the company every day.
Tbilicare started with Archie's dream, Vanessa's belief that he should take the chance, and a shared vision of what home care could be. Together, they turned that vision into a company built around one simple idea: care should always come with warmth.
